Winter Dry Skin

When winter comes there are a few things that I expect to happen. The first thing is to shovel snow, so I bring out my snow blower. The second thing is dry, cracked skin, so I look for the best lotions going into the winter.

Cetaphil Lotions for Dry Skin

One of the best lotions and cleansers I use for dry, cracked skin is Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and Cleanser. I have notice that this cream improves my dry skin during the winter. If my skin is dry and cracked I notice a difference within 2 weeks of use. Using harsh cleansers in the winter is the worst thing you can do for your skin and it makes your moisturizers work that much harder. Cetaphil Cleanser unclogs pores, removes dirt, make up, will not strip or over dry my skin and it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Cetaphil Cream has a blend of niacinamide and hydrating glycerin, its fragrance free, paraben free, and it won’t clog my pores. Cetaphil is one of the lotions I use during the winter.

Vaseline Lotions for Dry Skin

Another great lotion to use during the winter is Vaseline lotions. Vaseline lotions provide a layer of jelly on my skin which helps to protect my skin against cold, windy weather. When I use Vaseline lotions I notice it locks in the moisture and helps to prevent dry cracked skin. Vaseline lotions also help to heal small cracks and scraps on my skin and dry lips. That’s why I make sure I have Vaseline during the winter.
